For an lesson focused on the lower years of primary school, it would be important to engage them on powerful passwords by sharing a youtube video around cyber security and powerful passwords (linked below).
After viewing the video this can facilitate a discussion amongst the class about if they think their passwords are secure enough.
As a teacher you can then encourage students to participate in a class activity where they create weak, medium and secure passwords for the school laptop they all share. This will encourage them to brainstorm pass phrases and things the class has in common. This will additionally encourage students to change any weak passwords at home and educate their family about ensuring they all have secure passwords.
