3. Share an activity idea or classroom resource that you have found online or created yourself that involves primary students exploring private and public information sharing. It could be a video, lesson plan, storybook, song or anything else!
To educate students about private and public information sharing I would have them watch the private and personal information youtube video (linked below), as well as, have them interact with a cyber security card game created by the Australian Computing Academy (ACA).
Students could begin working with other students within the class to organise the cards into two sections. Students could then go through each card and mark how many they achieved correct. I could then using the game and the students results to facilitate a discussion around certain details that should and should not be shared online and why.
As a class, we could create posters for around the school and in our classroom to not only education other teachers and students, however, to ensure students are reminded of what information they should and should not be sharing whilst completing online learning activities at school.
