The above URL contains a website from The Digital Technologies Hub about Communicating Safely Online Years F-2. The activities require students to think about how unique and important their own personal information is and how and when to safely communicate it. The activities included on the website involve a group game where students are required to find peers that have the same general characteristics and the last question of the game is to find someone with the same first name, middle name and last name – obviously students will not be able to find anyone else with these same details, further reinforcing how important our own personal information is. To further this learning, students then focus on the appropriate times to use personal information (enrolling in school, license, passport, etc.). Students then use the provided template to create their own pencil license, ICT license, etc., to demonstrate how to use personal information correctly.
