Digital Footprint

We can unconsciously leave a digital footprint all across the internet. People who rarely use technology or students who might not understand technology to its full extent will be the ones most vulnerable to leaving human traces on the internet. Examples include posting status, photos, locations and birthdays on Facebook, Instagram, Snap chat, Twitter, and other social media platforms. If your information is set to the public there is a higher chance outsiders can view all of that data. Other examples can include filling out forms, such as when signing up to receive emails or messages as well as agreeing to install cookies onto your device when presented on the browser the individual is searching.
