Networks learning idea
An activity to demonstrate the networking configurations possible to younger learners could be to create a game where they act as parts of the network themselves. The approach takes a play-based age appropriateness activity where students hold hands or link arms to create a wired network for example (or don’t hold hands for a wireless network …are you getting the idea?). After some practise the teacher could create a competitive game for improving automaticity of understanding, somewhat similar to knights, mounts, cavaliers, whereby student groups race to demonstrate the network configurations being spoken by the teacher.
