Task: Create or find a classroom resource that teaches students about creating strong passwords, passcodes or passphrases.
To being, initiate a class discussion about passwords. have students talk to their neighbour about why we have passwords, why passwords need to be strong and how you can create strong passwords. Then, the teacher will inform the students that strong passwords do not have dictionary words, they are between eight and twenty characters long and also include numbers and symbols.
Next, the students will complete the CSER ‘Powerful Passwords Activity’. Students write the passwords from the bubble into the table by classifying them as weak, medium and strong passwords.
