The use of a strong password is absolutely a necessity that students must learn about. Both how to create such a password, the types of information that should not be included in a password, and why these steps are necessary in creating strong passwords. Hackers find it easy to infiltrate computers as finding information on people is quite easy, as has been researched previous to this activity. Simply put, including personal information in a password is asking for your password to be guessed.
I would suggest using two-factor authentication to all of my students as it adds quite a difficult barrier to your account.
This resource aims to educate why a strong password is required in addition to how to create a password that is as secure as possible.
