Strategies to teach about information sharing or safe communication, before a unit on Scratch programming (Link below)
Firstly, cyber safety will be an ongoing and authentic long term learning process in my classroom. Secondly, I will explicitly teach students what it means to safely, responsibly and ethically use the Scratch programming language and the cyber space. I will plan at least three sequential lessons addressing the Technologies Curriculum learning outcome: Create and communicate ideas and information safely, using agreed protocols (netiquette) (ACTDIP013), before I move on to the Scratch unit.
