Students, particularly in the early years would benefit greatly by exploring the differences of what private information and public information is, along with the risks associated with sharing private information. An activity to raise awareness of this could be having all the students stand behind their desks and going around the class each student thinks of a piece of information that can either be public or private. They then go around the classroom one by one asking another student whether their piece of information is public or private and why. It is an inclusive activity and creates self awareness for each student.
