Unit 4 Task


Questions: What are some primary-friendly “scam scenarios” that you could use in the classroom for encouraging students to critically think about messages they receive? Create your own “fake scam” to share with the community so they can try and spot the tell-tale signs!

  • A family member has been kidnapped and held for ransom
  • Phishing scams to buy upgrades or special functions in games
  • Phishing scams to get a hold of their passwords

Students can listen to the scenarios and discuss as a class what they would do if they were in that situation. students can also role-play it out to practice saying and defending themselves confidently.
