Unit 2. Task.

The key differences between cyber security, cyber awareness, and cyber safety are as follows:
Cyber security refers to the practice of protecting computers, networks, programs, and data from digital attacks, conversely, cyber awareness is the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors that aim to protect our information and assets. Cyber safety refers to safe and responsible use of information and communication technologies. In summary, node, program, network and data security, individual awareness and personal safety are the key differences to these categories.
As a student teacher I am yet to have an opportunity to teach these elements in the classroom, however upon completion of my education degree I am sure these elements will be heavily focused on in order to build a cyber safety and awareness foundation for my future students. Cyber safety and awareness is a critical and vital part of using technology, and thus is incorporated in the curriculum to set up each student for the best chance of success when using technology.
