In response to the question, I searched online for practical programs that will teach students about online ethics in an interactive environment. I discovered an “online game” created by ABC Australia, which asks students to answer the quiz questions regarding “fake news and misinformation”. They must use their intuition, knowledge, and skills regarding untrue information online, to sift through fake and real information presented to them. Following the activity, students could compare scores and responses, and any weak areas in identifying unethical and misinformation online can be worked into the next lessons to strengthen students digital safety skills.
