Digital Footprint

When we use social media we are leaving our digital footprint. Some examples have been highlighted in the course reading like: playing online games, browsing the net, researching and collecting data, and posting in social media platforms.

There are some other ways we leave our data crumbs that can be misused. People in chat rooms blur boundaries between online and offline leaving people vulnerable to the emotional power of that connection.

Another example is the presence of video cameras and drones that invade our privacy. They have positives uses but negative uses also.
