Ask students to suggest passwords that they think people might commonly use.

 

Compare this against the latest list of most commonly used passwords online.

 

Explain to students why it is important not to use a very common password.

Now ask them to use complex passwords

 

Discuss the advantages of using complex passwords by relating to situations where the passwords have been hacked.

 

Next, use the template below to prepare a social media profile. This can be used to analyse what clues it gives away about a person’s possible password recovery answers.
