Just another interesting example of encryption – the Enigma machine and how it was cracked by Alan Turing. The significance of encryption in times of war cannot be overstated, and Turing’s work played a significant factor in how the war played out. This just goes to show that the scope of encryption is far beyond technology and has very real implications!
