Unit 2 – Question 2

Zalo is an application researched, developed and released by a Vietnamese company, VinaGame (VNG). It was VNG’s engineers who researched and launched Zalo products.

Instead of having to use a data transfer device, or through cloud storage applications to transfer data, now the Zalo application has made it possible for users to transfer files on both Zalo PC and Zalo for phones.

Users can share images, links or documents from Zalo computer to Zalo phone. Thus, sharing data will save a lot of time.

Instructions for sharing files on Zalo

  • Step 1: Access the Zalo application on your phone and click on the conversation where you want to send the document file.
  • Step 2: At the message input section in the chat with the ellipsis icon on the right side, click on it.
  • Step 3: A series of icon items will appear, please click on the Document item.
  • Step 4: On the phone screen will display all your recent document files and images. To be able to send the document file, you need to select the three dashes icon in the left corner.

Step 5: You choose to get the file in the folder or get the file from Google Drive on your phone.

Step 6: At this point, the screen will display files containing files, you just need to click to select the document file you want to send.

Step 7: Follow the ways to send files via Zalo above and you will download and send the document file to your friends in a few seconds. When you have finished sending the document file, you can review the file you sent by clicking the “Open” button.
