Unit2 – Question 1

Cyber Security
Cyber security has become a topic of growing importance in today’s digitalised world and now protects users from over 30 million cyber attacks per year. Cyber security is the practice of protecting computers, networks, programs, and data from digital attacks through security design, security controls and protection, security awareness and user behaviour.

Cybersecurity in the Digital Technology curriculum is the understanding of how digital systems collect, manage, transmit, and protect data, and the development and application of methods to secure information. digital information and user protocols. New technologies are emerging at a rapid pace – new tablet apps, software, artificial intelligence-based technology and more. This requires new insights into how this software and hardware works, including cybersecurity risks and safe use. Cybersecurity processes are constantly changing with new computer science methods and techniques and to adapt to new technologies. This is especially important when working with groups such as children and young people.
Cyber Safety
Cyber safety (or internet safety, online safety and e-safety) is the safe and responsible use of information and communication technologies (ICTs). It’s the idea that we are to behave as good digital citizens when interacting and collaborating in an online space and using technologies.

Cyber Awareness
Cyber awareness is just as important as cyber security to understand the potential threats to safety and the knowledge and skills of users to avoid these threats.
In my opinion, the issue of network security, awareness and security is the content that should be taught to high school students.
