Unit 4 – Task

Task Unit4: Share your thoughts on what you imagine to be the future of cyber attacks. Consider the types of information we store and share online today. What information will hackers try to get in the future? What approaches do you think they will use?

It is true that cyberattacks would likely become one of the most important concerns of many firms in coming future, which may lead operations of all industries to fact vulnerability.

In this landscape, protecting personal information as well as precious information of a company is essential action that managers in particular and all individuals in general should focus on. In fact, as someone noted, data is a crucial source that everyone want to possess because it is seen as ‘new oil’ in the digital era. It is also advanced means to help most firms achieve from profits, market share, expanding operation, etc.

Because of benefits from accessing information data, the emergency of cyberattacks probably increases in next time. Online attackers may focus on collecting activities of users to predict passwords of credit cards, email, and even business strategies of firms. Such these actions can erode trust of users, specifically customers about products and services that a company promotes. A researcher suggests that trust is the backbone of every economy that government should build and strengthen. Therefore, a remarkable increase in cybersecurity breaches can raise the adverse impact on the stability of a country. It would become more serious when these attacks appear in the scope of cross-border countries.

In my opinion, to tackle these vital issues, the cooperation between most governments over the globe is the necessary action. When facing the global risk, all of us must stand at the same point together to overcome the tough situation. With that in mind, under individual view, spreading the knowledge of cybersecurity has been the first step to reach successfulness in coming time.
